Dr. Kelvin A. Ramirez is a board-certified registered Art Therapist and Licensed Creative Arts Therapist (NYS), with over 20 years of experience in the field. He specializes in using art therapy to support adolescents, adults, couples, and families, helping them navigate mental health challenges such as grief, racial trauma, and life transitions. With a person-centered approach, Dr. Ramirez tailors each therapy session to meet the unique needs and goals of his clients.


Beyond his clinical work, Dr. Ramirez has shared his expertise on a global scale, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and contributing to educational systems to enhance personal and academic growth. He is also the Executive Producer of Art Therapy: The Movie and Love in the Making, films that explore the transformative power of art therapy and relationships. Dr. Ramirez is an Associate Professor at Lesley University, where he teaches in the Division of Expressive Arts Therapies. Additionally, his initiative No Longer Bystanders supports asylum seekers in Juarez, Mexico, addressing the complex mental health needs of marginalized communities.
